She is credited with helping to end the "Heroin Chic" look that preceded her. Bündchen has been featured on over 2000 magazine covers. She retired from the runway in 2015, and has been involved with social and environmental charity causes.
In 2009, she married American NFL football quarterback Tom Brady.
