She told WSJ magazine she has to "put the oxygen mask" on before prioritizing her kids' well-being.

Gisele Bündchen is speaking out about what her life looks like post-divorce from NFL star Tom Brady.

In a new interview with WSJ magazine, Bündchen said the practice of gratitude is one she’s trying to adopt as a way to stay grounded, despite the curveballs life has thrown her way. "To live in a state of gratitude is like a protection in your life,” Bündchen said. "We can look at things like, why is this happening to me? … When I look back, the biggest, most challenging experiences in my life ... showed me that I was stronger than I thought I was."

Meditation and stretching are also important parts of her daily morning routine to help herself stay centered, she shared. “...I wake up around 5 and make sure that I have my meditation," she told the magazine. "I like to have lukewarm water with a little lemon and Celtic salt. Then I do my stretches, which I call my asana, for about 15 minutes, then 15 minutes of meditation."

When it comes to co-parenting, Bündchen shared that she has to make sure to “put the oxygen mask on me first” when it comes to taking care of the two kids she shares with her ex. Still, both she and Brady have plenty of time with the kids, and maintaining a proper balance is important to her.

"Tom has to have time with them, and I have time with them, which I think is amazing because they get to really experience more enrichment for their lives," she said in a separate interview with Robin Roberts earlier in the month. "Two different worlds and they get to learn from two different worlds and that's wonderful for them I think. They're so big."

Bündchen is rumored to be dating again; sources have told multiple outlets that she’s been seeing jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente since last summer.

Bündchen and Brady met in 2006, married in 2009, and eventually divorced in 2022.
