Recently, I purchased a new brand new built 4500 square-foot home. With all of the hardwood floors covering three floor levels I wanted rugs.

I started off with one rug at rugs.com and one floor protector. I was quite surprised when the order arrived two days later.

The quality of the rug and the rug pad were just as nice as rugs. I have purchased before at restoration hardware. After seeing the quality and the color being such a match to what I was seeing online, I went ahead and ordered the rest of the rugs fromrugs.com to cover the three levels of our home.

So if you are looking for a rug, I say why not give rugs.com a chance in your home as well. I do believe you will be as pleased with the quality of their rugs and the lower pricing as I am.

I really liked these rug pads, a lot actually. They do keep our rugs from slipping on laminate flooring and the layer of felt helps absorb sound and vibration from the crawlspace design. If I could go back and order again though, I'd get 1 size down for each of my rugs instead of the exact size. You really should have several inches or more of your rug overlapping these to ensure edges lay flat. I ended up triming quite alot.

I have previously purchased 4 of these rug pads and was very happy with them. They had the smooth backing (as shown in the website photos) and didn't damage my hardwood or LVP flooring.

I just ordered another one to go with a new rug, and it is not the same product as before. It now has a very bumpy, extremely busy pattern on the back (see photo), which will not be safe for my vinyl floors. Their item description needs to be updated to reflect the manufacturing change.

works well in stopping my area rug from slipping around on the wood floors. It's also a tad cushioning and since the rug is not a plush on, its a nice addition. The only con I found is that the rug was hard to position on it since it seemed to stick to the padding. It was also a tad larger than the rug so i had to cut some of it put that was easy so no big deal. All in all, the uni-luxe padding is great. I would definitely recommend one for a rug.
