SMIC ออกรายงานผลประกอบไตรมาสแรกของปี มีรายรับรวมทั้งสิ้น 1,750 ล้านดอลลาร์ ส่งผลให้ SMIC ก้าวขึ้นมาเป็นผู้ผลิตเซมิคอนดักเตอร์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดอันดับ 3 ของโลกเหนือ UMC ของไต้หวันได้เป็นครั้งแรก พร้อมกันนี้ สื่อสองสำนักจากเกาหลีใต้ ต่างออกรายงานตรงกันว่า SMIC สามารถผลิตชิป 5 นาโนเมตรได้สำเร็จแล้ว โดยไม่ต้องพึ่งพาเครื่อง EUV

ช่วงเวลาเดียวกันของปีที่แล้ว SMIC ยังเป็นเบอร์ 5 ในตลาด (ดูภาพด้านล่างประกอบ) แต่จากดีมานด์ชิปที่เพิ่มขึ้นทั่วโลกในช่วงหลัง ประกอบกับแรงหนุนจากแนวทางลดการพึ่งพาเทคโนโลยีต่างชาติของจีน เสริมด้วยการคัมแบ็กของ HUAWEI ทำให้ SMIC ขยับขึ้นรวดเดียวสองอันดับ มาเป็นเบอร์ 3 ในไตรมาสนี้รองจาก TSMC และ Samsung ทันที โดยรายรับ 1,750 ล้านดอลลาร์ มีที่มาจากบริษัทในชาติเดียวกันไปกว่า 80%

The cup is very nicely insulated and has the beautiful usual Hydro Flask design that I appreciate; however, the flexible splash resistant press-in straw creates a vacuum seal in the cup that makes it impossible to bring liquid up. There is a small hole near the outer seal of the press-in straw that should supposedly allow air flow to draw up liquid but the underside of the lid completely seals off the hole which makes it useless. This is my biggest gripe with the design. This lack of air flow 1) makes it very difficult to draw up the liquids using the straw and 2) creates a mess if you put on the cap when the straw is already attached to it. You have to put the lid on and then the straw through after otherwise the vacuum seal creates a suction and forces liquid out of the straw when you put the lid on. This is a very big design flaw and ruins the whole purpose of having a straw lid.

Tumbler is great. I suppose the press in lid is ok too but it’s not the straw lid I ordered. I’m still waiting for a response from customer service about replacing the lid. Customer service takes about 7-10 minimum for a reply.

I also traded in a battered narrow mouth bottle and I received a non-working promo code. Still haven’t heard back from customer service regarding that.

I am a long time Hydro Flask devotee. I love the flex straw top for the bottles and the flex sip lid on my coffee bottle.

I’ll still buy Hydro Flask and will hope customer service improves soon.

I bought my tumbler from the ‘my hydro’ section and I was excited to use it for my iced coffees. The straw material is great because it’s soft and I noticed there is a small hole on the straw that aligns with the indent on the lid but! Every time I sip from the cup it makes an odd suction sound (similar to when you drink from a straw that has a tear in it) I’m trying to figure out why but I mean it’s a straw and shouldn’t be this difficult. The insulation of the cup itself is great but the straw is seriously going to be the make or break of me using the cup. I don’t need my cup making noises every time I drink from it. I was really excited about this cup but I’m hoping I can ‘fix’ it.
