I absolutely LOVE advent calendars, it’s something I’ve gotten each year from my parents, and I still do- regardless of my age lol Now I do it for my kids, and will until they do it for theirs. This Advent Calendar is absolutely adorable! It features 24 days of surprises with exclusive holiday figures and accessories! You can explore Springfield with the Simpsons as part of a countdown. Each day reveals a new figure or accessory and you can use the box as a popup for each of the pieces to create your own scene! How cool is this!!! It’s fun for kids or an adult! It’s even got Matt Groening’s signature on the bottom, adding a special detail for true fans, like me! I love The Simpsons so much!! my mom wouldn’t allow me and my brother to watch it when we were kids, but she worked all the time and went to school so we would watch it every day. It’s definitely a memory of growing up that I still have with my brother after all these years. I’ve spent over 35 years watching The Simpsons!

This was pretty cute. I appreciate the cardboard stand-ups of Santa’s Little Helper, Snowball, the TV, etc. so you can set this up in your home and have it as a conversation piece as you wait and do one “door” each day of December. The numbers could have been more pronounced as I had to look quite a bit to find some of them. Of course, some of the items were more exciting than others, as is always true with Advent calendars. I am an older Simpsons fan, so I recognized and appreciated the references to classic episodes while there were a couple of items I was confused about (must have missed those episodes). Overall I thought it was a solid Advent calendar. No complaints about the difficulty of opening the doors, or of items being lost in the packaging… all was well. My favorite items may have been the two candy cane striped nuclear cooling towers… ha ha! An unexpected treat. This Advent calendar is sure to be enjoyed by fans young and old alike.

Very fun advent calendar for any Simpsons fan. It has the Simpsons family members in their Christmas outfits including the dog, and several other characters or landmarks from the show. My daughter enjoyed opening the calendar every day and seeing what she would get, but it was also fun for me as a long Simpsons watcher because I would recognize the characters. I also love how the flag cover for the calendar is their living room. You can actually pop up the TV and the other features. So If you have a Simpson’s fan in your life (I’m pretty sure you do) this would make a great gift. I received this free product from Influesnster to review.
