[Rewarded Review] Cute, Lightweight, & Portable
Maria B.· Opinión proporcionada por hydroflask.com · 29 de julio de 2024
I bought this item because a lot of friends I have who are active tend to bring these flasks with them wherever they go... And I can say I now understand why.

It is very lightweight, even if you have ice in the bottle and it's completely full. I took this flask with me when I went on an hour and a half hike (a very hot and humid day), and I barely noticed I was carrying it. The straw was very convenient and made it easy to drink as much as I needed without getting cold sensitivity on my teeth. I was a little worried about the strap being fragile, but it handled being swung around and I had no fear of it breaking on me.

I love the color blue, and I liked the subtle look of the Matcha Ombre. The color is not as saturated as it is in the photos, but it is 99% close. I am a big fan of the color and the little bit of green mixed with it.

Now, as for the thermal capability... I only plan on using these bottles for cold drinks. I filled the flask with ice about halfway. The ice lasted throughout the entire hike, and when I got back home I still had a good amount to put into another cup to re-use. HydroFlask is definitely one of the best I've used for keeping drinks cold for hours on end.

Inside the box, there were instructions for taking apart the cap (which includes the straw and a red rubber piece to help keep the straw in place) and how to clean it properly. I appreciated this as I've never owned a HydroFlask product until now. It was easy to put it back together after cleaning.

I bought this item specifically for short walks and hikes, and I have full confidence it will perform exactly as I need it to. I definitely feel like I've got my money's worth out of the item, and I look forward to being able to use it more in the future! If you are on the fence about buying this item, I'd say you won't regret it.
Rust issues and an expensive warranty
· Opinión proporcionada por hydroflask.com · 2 de mayo de 2024
I purchased 2 of these and both of them developed rust because the stainless steel is clearly a low quality batch. My first bottle began to rust at the rim within 3 weeks, the second lasted about 4 months before rust started. The rims are getting progressively worse, and cleaning them just results in the rust coming back.

The extremely frustrating part... despite this being a manufacturing defect Hydro Flask expects me to pay to ship back the defective bottles! I bought these and provided photos to the support team, but it costs so much to mail them back that I would rather put the money towards a different product somewhere else. So disappointing, especially for a premium bottle that should last for years and years. My older HydroFlask bottles never had this issue and I hope the rest of my new ones fare better.
[Rewarded Review] Awesomeness

Have used hydro flask for years. My two small dogs love it too. We took a trip to Florida non/ stop except for gas and fast food. Filled flask with ice and water and took off. The fur babies hit the flask with their paws when thirsty and I pulled off freeway to give them water. We still had small pieces of ice on arrival in Florida. Did it again when coming home to California. Temp was 3 digits and we still had small bits of ice when we got home to California. Yes, my dogs are spoiled and like ice in their water. I had a separate hydro flask that I used for myself. It also had bits of ice and cold water. I am so glad to know I was not giving my fur babies water containing lead!!!!
Good Performance!

We got this small 24oz size insulated water bottle to replace a well-known competing brand that held ice "forever", but the old one was awkward and too big. I had read several reviews (outside of Bean) that said this one leaked. That would be a big problem for us, since we carry this inside our saddle-bags on long motorcycle rides. Yippee...used it for a week in the desert this Summer, bouncing around in the bike for 1400 miles. No drips and plenty of cold water. And, I was skeptical of the 'Flex Straw' deal, but it was fantastically easy to use rather than unscrewing the whole top while standing beside the road!

All around a good product for us.
