Great cookbook for just about everything. Easy to follow recipes. Great book for all around cooking!

This a wonderful cookbook. It has everything a new cook (and experienced cooks, too) could possibly need or want to produce great meals. I wish I had it long ago, quite honestly!

I have one of these cookbooks, I bought this one for my daughter. It is a great read and gives you instructions on processes and details that are needed to have a great outcome. Every instruction in a recipe means something, learn why it is you do what you do in the order that it requires you to do it. Every section gives history and details, for example, biscuits, he goes into details on flours and gluten and explains why you do not want to handle your wet dough to much, it gets hard when you bake it. I bought this for my sister for Christmas. The poor soul can make hamburger helper and thats about it! I am however keeping it for myself. The book was used. I knew this going in. But the cover is very used and the spine is detached in some spots. Dont even care. Its used, I wasnt expecting brand new!! Will buy from this shop again!!!
