LADY GAGA chose from the Fashion East fold when dressing for a trip to London yesterday, opting for a white, lace spring/summer 2012 look by Simone Rocha - the daughter of designer John Rocha.
"It's always a compliment when somebody chooses to wear my designs," Rocha told us this morning. "After showing in London I was told she would be interested in pieces from the collection and I'm delighted she chose some pieces for her time in London. I believe my clothes should be integrated into someone's personal style and it has definitely integrated into her signature."
Fashion East founder Lulu Kennedy also offered her approval of Gaga's style decision.
"It's great to see Lady Gaga wearing her collection so beautifully," she told us. "Simone's refined appreciation of textiles and fabrication can be seen in every single garment she makes - all elements and details are highly considered. Her spring/summer 2012 collection was drop dead gorgeous; I especially loved the new silhouettes, apple green tulle, and lace encased in plastic."
