Once frequented by the great and the good (or bad) of the London social scene, Primrose Hill has always had quite the buzz. Now, however, it seems that the 1990s party generation are all grown up and are ready to move on, as Primrose Hill set alumni Sadie Frost is selling her six-bedroom house in the area for £8.25 million.

Actress, producer and fashion designer Frost purchased the home with her then-husband, actor Jude Law. Once dubbed the ‘House of Sin’, the property has played host to a rotation of raucous parties and glamorous guests in its time, such as model Kate Moss, actress Davinia Taylor, Britpop stars Liam and Noel Gallagher and their then-wives Patsy Kensit and Meg Mathews.

Law and Frost split up in 2003, with Frost procuring the North London property in the divorce settlement. She was subsequently married to Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp until they divorced in 1995, and has been with current boyfriend Darren Strowger for six years.

Since its 1990s heyday, the Belsize Park house has functioned primarily as a family home for Frost’s four children, Finlay (29), Rafferty (23), Iris (18) and Rudy (17). She is thought to be selling the property as her children will all have left home soon, with their mother therefore seeking a smaller residence.

An elegant Victorian building, the five-storey, grey-brick home is partially detached, complete with large bay windows and an impressive staircase up to the front door. Having originally been bought by Frost and Law for £2 million in 2002, rising house prices and the gentrification of the area will see Frost make a significant gain on the property.

Those with a penchant for the 1990s, an appetite for fun and £8 million to spare should contact Savills, who are representing the property, immediately.
