Who Is the Sexiest Member in SHINee?

As the Shawol fandom is rejoicing over the comeback of SHINee, it’s a good time to step back and re-evaluate some of the more important things in life- mainly, who is the hottest member in this group of majorly gorgeous, young men? It’s questions like these that stump even the most dedicated K-Popper and takes up entirely too much time in our day. When SHINee first debuted, this adorable cutie pie caught my eye when he was overwhelmed with emotions backstage. From that first tearful moment, Jonghyun was a special favorite of mine. He has since left behind those days as a timid young man and blossomed into a super confident, sexy vocalist and K-Pop idol. In addition to being an amazing singer, he is also a talented songwriter and lyricist, penning songs that have ranged from sensual to sweet. With his great sense of fashion and gorgeous face, this is one artist that is definitely a hottie! Did we also  mention his amazing body and rock-hard abs? As the years have gone by, this gorgeous guy has turned into a super fierce artist that wows fans with both his vocal and dance abilities. Taemin no longer seems like the shy, young maknae of the group, but has immensely improved his skills as his career has progressed. This seems to have translated into a stronger attitude and more confidence onstage. Although still a sweetheart, Taemin turns into a beast when he performs the strong dance steps and sensual moves which made him so famous in the first place. Now a solo artist as well, he has gained a huge fanbase, showing that he goes far beyond a handsome face but is a true master at his skills. However, do you think his strength onstage means he is the sexiest member? Only time will tell!

Although I adore all of the members of this extremely talented group, the very first one to catch my eye was leader Onew. When I first saw his face, I honestly thought, “Wow! He is incredibly beautiful!” As I began seeing him on variety shows as well, I slowly fell in love with his bright-as-sunshine smile and easy-going personality. However, it wasn’t until later that I truly realized what an amazingly talented vocalist he really is! When I first heard him sing my favorite opera song of all-time at a SMTOWN concert, he became one of my all-time favorite vocalists in the K-Pop business. The respect I had for him as an artist has only continued to grow over the years. With his exotically handsome face and sexy smile, is Onew the sexiest member of the entire group?

If you haven’t noticed by now, I am a SHINee fan. Although I adore each and every member in different ways, one of my biggest all-time loves in K-Pop is the strikingly beautiful Key. Coming in at a close second to my Lee Donghae obsession, my love for Key is pretty intense. Not only does he have good looks worthy of a model, but he has one of the most adorable personalities in K-Pop. My adoration for Key was something that kind of grew slowly over time, taking me by surprise when seeing his fatherly role on the variety show “Hello Baby,” his weirdly adorable aegyo and his undeniable talent as a solid member of SHINee. Add to the mix his funky fashion, fun-loving nature and hysterical laugh, this K-Pop star ranks in my all-time top three idols. As my mother says, “Key is sexy. Strangely sexy, but still sexy.”

Even if you have another favorite member of SHINee, the super handsome Minho seems to be almost everyone’s ideal type. With his deep, throaty rap skills, he is a definite plus to this amazing group! In addition to being talented and fiercely gorgeous, his genuine, gentleman-like behavior has won him a huge fanbase as well. He is one of the most athletic idols in the business, known for his strong sense of competitiveness and desire to win. His love of all things athletic translates to the ultimate athlete’s body with super toned muscles and not an ounce of fat on his lean, beautiful frame. Beyond the mature outward appearance though, Minho is a sweet and sensitive guy who is loyal to his friends and filled with adorable aegyo.
