Amanda Seyfried put a sultry, dramatic spin on a classic look to walk her first major red carpet of the year.

The actor arrived at the 2024 Golden Globes in a bold little black dress custom-made for her by Giorgio Armani Privé. The strapless column gown in black velvet features a large purple bow along the neckline embellished with black and pink Swarovski crystals.

Seyfried wore the piece with pointy black pumps, square diamond drop earrings and a square diamond ring by Pomellato, and vampy glam: a dark purple smoky eye, a glossy pink lip and blush, and a slicked-down, side-parted hairdo.

As always, the Globes are taking place tonight at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. Seyfried is a presenter at the award show, along with fellow stars America Ferrera, Ben Affleck, Dua Lipa, Florence Pugh, Hailee Steinfeld, Hunter Schafer, Jared Leto, Matt Damon, Michelle Yeoh, Naomi Watts, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, Will Ferrell, and various others.

Seyfried’s last red carpet was in December, when she attended the 17th annual CNN Heroes gala in a green sequin top and black pencil skirt.

Before that, in November, she made a dazzling appearance at a Lancôme event in Shanghai, where she wore a sweeping sheer cape dress adorned with gold, pearl, and jewel detailing by Elie Saab. The neckline of her dress was grandly decorated with the embellishments, creating a look worthy of a queen’s throne. Seyfried paired the glorious frock with a pair of heels and kept her jewelry simple with a few gold rings. She rounded off the look with gold eye shadow, fluttery eyelashes, and a coral-tinted lip and wore her hair down in soft waves.
