For Valentine’s Day 2023, Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar left fans speechless as she stripped completely naked for a sultry throwback snap.
The star covered her modesty with nothing but a red cardboard heart, leaving her toned thighs on full display as she teased fans with the sexy snap.
Sarah Michelle added a pair of scarlet kitten heels to her ensemble, arranging her famous blonde locks into a curly up-do as she applied a swipe of dark red lipstick to her pout.
She captioned the racy snap: “ValentinesSlay” on Instagram.
Her co-star hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. was quick to respond to the sultry post, as he uttered: “God damn!” in the comments section.
Sarah Michelle is no stranger when it comes to stripping off for the camera. In one throwback shoot, she could be seen completely starkers with her knees pulled up to her chest with her arms wrapped around them.
The star also left fans speechless when she donned a teeny pink swimsuit emblazoned with the Barbie logo to show off her muscular pins in yet another ageless post.
Kristy Swanson
Before Sarah Michelle Gellar put her face to Buffy Summers, the vampire slayer was first played by Kristy Swanson for her first outing in the 1992 movie.
And Kristy was just as happy stripping off as her replacement. For a 2002 issue of Playboy, the actress went totally nude on the front cover.
She gushed about the shoot: “I could not pass up the opportunity to work with the renowned photographer, Phillip Dixon, and by the look of my pictorial I think I made the perfect choice.”
Charisma Carpenter
For her 44th birthday, Cordelia star Charisma Carpenter decided to celebrate in a very unique way – in her birthday suit.
Chatting to TooFab, Charisma explained that she doesn’t want women in their 40s to feel like they’re “not sexy”.
She gushed: “I think a majority of us women in Hollywood, especially in our 40s, we start to feel or are made to feel like you're not relevant anymore or you're not sexy or you're not sellable.
“I felt great and I'm like, '44 is rad, I feel really good about myself. I work hard and if the 20-year-olds are posing and doing it, why can't I?'"
The actress said she was “just playing” with photographer Jake Bailey when they took the racy naked snap, which left Charisma’s nipples totally exposed to the camera.
The monochrome snap saw her lean back on her hands as she exposed her bare body to the elements.
She gushed: “I felt good and proud and it was my birthday and it's a big number and it can be a scary number, but I sort of wanted to tell people in my own way that you can still feel sexy at 44."
David Boreanaz
According to Buffy stars, Angel actor David Boreanaz was naked “all the time” on set.
He was willing to bare everything before he even started filming sex scenes for the show, much to the hilarity of his colleagues.
Cordelia actress Charisma Carpenter told Entertainment Weekly: “It’s shocking how often he was comfortable being naked and how giggly he is.”
Sarah Michelle Gellar added: “He would literally come out with no pants on just to see if we could keep a straight face. He would just come out naked to see if he could make people laugh.”
And when asked if he wore a sock over his bits to protect his modesty, David quipped: “Method phase, sorry!”
James Marsters
Spike actor James Marsters didn’t go the whole hog for his own spot on this list but he did strip shirtless for a very sexy shoot back in the 90s.
In one throwback snap, the actor wowed in a pair of tight blue jeans, spreading his arms wide to show off his rippling abs with his trademark blonde hair gelled up.
Fans went wild for the snap, in which James accessorised with nothing but silver bracelets around his wrists and a thin silver chain around his neck.
