Katherine Heigl looks like a blonde bombshell in vibrant red dress at Emmy Awards 2024 ahead of Grey's Anatomy reunion

Katherine Heigl looked red hot at the 75th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday.

The 45-year-old actress appeared to be thoroughly enjoying her time at the awards show, as she flashed a smile and posed for a trio of photos.

The performer - who recently opened up about moving to a farm in Utah - donned a flowing bright red dress that featured a single silver brooch on its upper portion.

Heigl also accessorized with a shining necklace, and she carried a sparkling clutch with her for the duration of the event.

The Firefly Lane star's beautiful blonde locks paired well with the vibrant color of her clothing for the evening.

The actress picked up the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2007 for her role as Izzie Stevens in the long-running medical drama series Grey's Anatomy.

Heigl made her debut as the character in 2005, and she remained with the show for the next five years.

She also received much attention for publicly voicing her opinions and sharing her criticism about Stevens' story arcs over her time on the program.

The performer made her final appearance on the show during its sixth season, which aired from 2009 until 2010.

Heigl had a reunion with several of her castmates during the Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, and she told Entertainment Tonight that she found it 'hard' to reestablish contact with her former costars.

The actress went on to express that she had not seen Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr. in fifteen years, and that she was out of contact with Justin Chambers for a decade.

She then admitted that, although the idea of a reunion with her castmates 'sounds so cheesy,' she found the experience to be 'heartwarming.'

Heigl went on to state that she felt as if meeting younger fans of Grey's Anatomy, which premiered nearly two decades ago, was 'really wild.'
