Todos conocemos la tan popular bandera de Japón, conocida por su característico círculo rojo sobre fondo blanco. Sin embargo, existen más banderas con este tipo de diseño. En este post vamos a hablar de aquellas banderas que presentan un círculo sobre un fondo de color.
Como ya hemos dicho, Japón es la más conocida. La bandera es blanca con un disco rojo en el centro que representa el sol. Como dato curioso, el tono rojo del círculo no fue especificado en la ley de 1999, tan solo se concretó que fuera de un tono rojo intenso.

La bandera de Bangladesh también tiene un círculo de color rojo. Pero en este caso, el fondo es de color verde. Dicho fondo representa la abundancia de las tierras del país, mientras que el color rojo del círculo representa el sol y la sangre de los héroes de la independencia. Además, el círculo está ligeramente desplazado hacia la izquierda.

La tercera bandera que tiene este tipo de diseño es la de Palaos. Mientras que en las dos anteriores el círculo era de color rojo y representaba el sol, en este caso es de color amarillo y representa la luna. Por otro lado el fondo es de color azul y representa la independencia. Al igual que la bandera de Bangladés, el círculo está desplazado hacia la izquierda.

We all know so popular flag of Japan, known for its distinctive red circle on a white background. However, there are more flags with this type of design. In this post we will talk about those flags that have a circle on a colored background.
As already mentioned, Japan is the most known. The flag is white with a red disc in the center representing the sun. Curiously, the red hue circle was not specified in the 1999 law, which only took shape out of a deep red hue.

The flag of Bangladesh also has a red circle. But in this case, the background is green. This background represents the wealth of the country’s land, while the red circle represents the sun and the blood of the heroes of independence. Furthermore, the circle is slightly displaced to the left.

The third flag that has this type of design is that of Palau. While the two previous circle was red and represented the sun, in this case is yellow and represents the moon. On the other hand the background is blue and represents independence. Like the flag of Bangladesh, the circle is shifted to the left.
