González is the co-founder of the muralist collective Brigada Ramona Parra which in the late 1960's and early 70s worked on the successful presidential campaign of Salvador Allende who would later die during the violent military coup lead by Augosto pinichet in 1973.  González has continued to paint murals throughout Chile and abroad becoming one of the most important public and community artists in Latin America.Social Justice Printmaking Workshop: González will teach printmaking techniques to the OSU and Columbus community.
