William H. Macy wants his daughters to live their most fulfilled lives, both in and outside of the bedroom.
Speaking Thursday to Us Weekly, the father of Sophia, 17, and Georgia, 16, said he would embrace the young men his children bring home.
“You know, I started doing all the cliches, ‘I’m gonna threaten the guys, I’m gonna dig a moat around our house.’ And then I thought, ‘OK, what do you really want for your daughters?’ And I realized: I want them to be happy and lusty and safe,” the “Shameless” star shared. “I want them to have a lot of sex in their lifetime! Good, healthy wonderful sex with no guilt. That’s what I really want.”
Married to Felicity Huffman for two decades, Macy, 68, added that “boys are in the picture,” and times have changed since he was growing up.
“They’re different than when I was a kid. Georgia and Sofia have all their pals over,” Macy said. “It’s pretty bizarre, especially with Sofia, to wake up in the morning and there’s some boy walking out of your daughter’s room! They all sleep together! I don’t think they have sex, well, I know they don’t.”
Last month, the doting dad danced with a daughter in her prom dress.
“The girl tried on her prom dress. The dad took her for a spin,” Huffman, 55, posted on social media.
