See a Show at the Cherry Lane Theatre

A great way to spend your night in Greenwich Village is by going to the Cherry Lane Theatre. This is New York City’s oldest theater that is not located on Broadway and that is still operating. It opened in the year 1923.

The theater has a capacity of 179 seats and you can find it at 38 Commerce Street.

In the past, many famous plays were produced here by famous writers, such as F. Scott Fitzgerald.

It is still a great place to enjoy live theater and the productions are very good.

Furthermore, the theater’s intimate atmosphere and the historic building of the theater add to your experience when the sun goes down in Greenwich Village NYC!

Go to The Uncommons and Play Board Games

The Uncommons is a wonderful place to check out in the evening in Greenwich Village.

This is the oldest rock club in New York City and you can find it in the center of Greenwich Village. You can go here every day of the week and enjoy amazing live music in a variety of genres. From blues to rock to alternative to hip-hop, you can listen to it at The Bitter End.

Because of the many different types of music that you can listen to, this venue is perfect for anyone and there’s likely something that’s to your liking!

See an Indie Film at the Angelika Film Center

Seeing a movie is always a great activity to do at night and a wonderful place to check out when you are in Greenwich Village at night is the Angelika Film Center.

Angelika Film Centre has several locations in the United States, and you can find the original location in Greenwich Village at The Cable Building.

This movie theater is great if you want to see an independent or foreign film! If there’s an indie or foreign film that you want to see, you can do it at this place.

What’s great also about the Angelika Film Center is that its New York City location has a stunning exterior and interior. Its outside features colorful neon lights and its its interior is very stylish. Also, there are 5 screens at this location.

Looking to have a night full of comedy? Then, you can go to a comedy club, and a great one is Comedy Cellar.

This is a comedy club that opened for the first time in 1982 and throughout the years, many famous comedians performed at the venue.

For example, in the past Jon Stewart, Amy Schumer, and Dave Chapelle all performed here in the past, and this comedy venue is still a great place to see famous comedians.

What’s nice is that you can go here almost every night of the week. So no matter when you want to have fun when the sun goes down, you can go here.

Another feature of this comedy club that makes it great is that it is connected to the Olive Tree Cafe. This is a restaurant with delicious food and drinks.

Want to see an incredible play? Then, going to The Players Theatre is a great thing to do at night in Greenwich Village.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre is another great off-Broadway theater that you can find in Greenwich Village.

This theater was opened in the year 1926 and used to be a movie theater with close to 600 seas. Nowadays, this venue is a great place to see plays.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre is a very intimate and cozy place to check out, and the productions are of very high quality.
