She Drinks Coffee

Maria loves starting her day with a cup of coffee. "Another beautiful day," she captioned a recent series of snaps including one of her morning cup of coffee. "Good morning to milk and coffee!" she captioned another. Should you drink coffee? Science says yes. One 2022 study published in European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – offers protection against cardiovascular disease and an early death.

She Snorkels

Maria spends a lot of time in the ocean and loves to snorkel. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

She Cycles

It can also boost mental health and help other health conditions, including arthritis.

She Exercises

Maria works out regularly, and it shows! She has a tab on her Instagram stories devoted to her workouts. One of her favorite workout tools? An exercise ball. She usually holds it while doing her exercises, adding a bit of added resistance and weight. Some of her got-to exercises? Lunges, squats, step ups, and lots of ab work. She also runs on the treadmill after her strength training session.
