Abstract

 画面表示装置(200)は、地図情報上にネットワーク(NW)を構成する装置、リンク、パス、障害の発生ポイント(警報)等を表示した三次元表示画面を表示する。また、画面表示装置(200)は、各装置の属性ごとに階梯を定義し、階梯が低い装置(NWの末端の装置)は三次元表示画面上で低い位置に配置し、階梯が高い装置は高い位置に配置する。さらに、画面表示装置(200)は、複数の階梯にまたがる個所には高さを示す目印を併記し、各装置の階梯の高さを視認しやすくする。また、画面表示装置(200)は、現用系・予備系のペアとなる装置群を囲む表示をし、障害発生時にサービス提供可能な系統があるかを判断しやすくする。

Description

画面表示装置、システムおよび画面生成方法
 本発明は、ネットワークの状況の画面表示装置、システムおよび画面表示方法に関する。
 通信事業者のネットワークには転送装置、制御装置等の様々な装置が用いられる。ネットワーク構成を表示する方法の一つに、装置の地理的な位置情報を用いて、地図上の対応個所に装置を描画する方法がある(図1。非特許文献1のITU-T Z.362参照)。なお、以下において説明する従来技術および本発明の実施の形態におけるネットワークでは、各装置が図1に示す接続関係で接続されているものとして説明する。この装置の地理的な位置情報を用いて、地図上の対応個所に装置を描画する方法では、ネットワークが、サーバ等の上位サービス装置161と、ネットワーク末端の装置である下位サービス装置101,102,103と、データ転送を行う転送装置121,122と、転送装置121,122や下位サービス装置101~103の制御を行う制御装置141とで構成されている。そして、各装置間は、図1に示すような接続関係で接続されている。この方法は、装置の位置や、装置がカバーする地理的な範囲を、画面の閲覧者が画面上で認識しやすいという利点がある。
 ネットワーク構成を表示する方法には他にも、地理的な情報をまったく考慮せず、装置間の論理的な接続関係のみに基づいた表示方法(図2参照。非特許文献1のITU-T Z.362参照)もある。図2において、□は装置を示し、装置間を結ぶ線はリンクを示す。さらにその派生形として、ネットワークの装置のうち、同じ機能、同じ役割の装置を同じ階層に配置する方法がある(図3参照)。この方法では、階層については、ネットワークの末端に位置する装置の階層(図3に示す破線で囲まれる範囲)を最下位として末端の装置から最上位の装置へ経由する装置の数(ホップ数)を基に定義する。また、この階層群を「階梯」として定義する。そして、画面表示装置において、全装置・全階梯を一括して画面上に表示し、同じ機能・役割のものを同じ階層に配置して整理する。図3に例示した方法は、装置の機能・役割やネットワークの論理構成を、閲覧者が画面上で認識しやすいという利点がある。
 図1~3に示す画面表示方法においては、ネットワークの全体表示の他に、ネットワークの一部のみを切り出して表示することもできる。切り出し方としては、一部の装置周辺の構成のみを切り出す方法や、一部地域の装置構成のみを切り出す方法の他に、ある特定の機能を持つ装置群、階梯や、ある特定のサービスに関する階梯のみを切り出す方法がある(非特許文献2、図4および図5参照)。例えば、ある特定の機能を持つ装置群のみを切り出す例として、特定の制御系機能を持つ装置群の階梯(制御プレーン)のみを切り出す例が挙げられる。図4Aは、図3に示したネットワークの各階梯の接続状況を示したものである。この図4Aに示すネットワーク表示に対して、制御プレーンの切り出しを行った結果が、図4Bのように表示される。そして、図4Bでは、図4Aに示す装置のうち、転送装置121,122を除く、制御装置141、サービス装置(上位サービス装置161、下位サービス装置101~103)のみを切り出して表示している。また、制御プレーンに属する各装置の間には、物理的には転送装置や転送リンクが介在する。この図4Bに示す表示方法においては制御系装置相互の接続状況を明確にするために、制御系装置間に介在する転送装置121,122および転送リンク等の物理的な接続状況を、制御リンク(図4Bに示す破線直線)に抽象化して表示している。これにより装置間の制御系機能の動作状況を、閲覧者が画面上で認識しやすくする。
 さらに、ある特定のサービスに係る階梯のみ切り出す例として、サービスプレーンの階梯のみ切り出して表示する例がある。図5Aは、図3に示したネットワークの各階梯の接続状況を示したものである。この図5Aに示すネットワーク表示に対して、サービスプレーンの切り出しを行った結果が、図5Bのように表示される。そして、図5Bでは、図5Aに示す装置のうち、サービス装置(上位サービス装置161と下位サービス装置101~103)のみを切り出している。装置間には転送装置121,122、転送リンクが介在し、サービスを実現するために制御プレーンに属する転送装置121,122および制御装置141が協調動作するが、この表示方法においては、サービス系装置間に介在する転送装置121,122および制御装置141の構成を抽象化してサービスリンク152として表示する。これにより装置間のサービス提供状況を、閲覧者が画面上で認識しやすくする。
 ここで、ネットワークの障害(異常)発生時には各階梯単位の動作正常性確認、原因装置特定や、ある装置の異常による他の装置への影響確認、さらには影響を被った地域やユーザ数(以上まとめて、り(罹)障範囲とする)の把握が必須となる。
 そこで、図6に示すように、ネットワークの装置やリンク等から何らかの警報が発出された場合や、装置からの応答がない等異常が疑われる場合は、表示画面上の該当する装置やリンクに対して付加記号を重畳したり、装置、リンクの色を変えたりする等して該当する個所を閲覧者に明示する方法も提案されている。

 しかしながら、前記した技術には以下の問題点がある。まず、図1,2に例示した地理的な配置に基づいた平面表示方法や装置間の論理的な接続関係のみに基づいた表示方法では、り障範囲を推測することは可能である。しかし、当該表示方法は、階梯構成を表現することが難しく、表示画面の閲覧者にとって、異常の発生した装置が、重要な装置か末端の装置か否かを図6に示すように画面上で一目で区別できないという問題がある。
 また、図3に例示した各階梯の接続状況を一括して平面表示する方法において、警報を併せて表示する方法(図7参照)も考えられる。しかし、この方法では、全装置の接続状況が一括して表示される一方、表示画面の閲覧者は、各装置の地理的な位置関係が表現されないことから、り障範囲を読み取ることが難しい。また、図7は、転送装置121,122の障害が起因となって複数の階梯をまたいで多くの装置に影響(通信障害)が及ぶ場合の表示画面例を示しているが、表示画面の閲覧者にとって、画面上で異常の原因となる階梯を把握しづらいという問題点もある。
 さらに、図4,5に例示したネットワークの一部の装置のみ切り出して表示する方法において、切り出した表示画面上に警報を併せて表示する方法も考えられる。例えば、図8Aは、図4Bの表示画面上に警報を併せて表示した例である。また、図8Bは、図5Bの表示画面上に警報を併せて表示した例である。この方法によれば、表示画面の閲覧者は、切り出したプレーン等に閉じた障害を視認しやすい。しかし、図4Aに示すネットワーク図の転送装置121,122が起因となって他階梯の装置にも影響が及ぶ場合等、複数プレーンに波及する障害では原因階梯・個所の特定が難しい。例えば、転送装置121,122が起因となって他階梯の装置にも影響が及ぶ場合、表示画面上は、図8Aには制御リンク151の警報があるものの、制御プレーンには原因となる装置はなく、また図8Bにはサービスリンク152の警報があるものの、サービスプレーンには原因となる装置がないという状況になる。この場合、画面表示装置の閲覧者は、全装置・全階梯を一括表示する画面への切り替え等を行い、障害の原因個所を推測しなければならない。また、この方法では、地理的な状況が表現されないことから、り障範囲の特定が難しいという問題がある。
 このように、障害発生時には、閲覧者は、画面表示装置を操作して、色々な画面を切り替えつつ、画面上で原因となる階梯や、装置や、り障範囲を把握するしかなく、手順が煩雑となりがちである。
 さらに、前記した方法はいずれも、現用系・予備系等、複数系を組んでいる装置について装置間の関係が画面上に表示されない。このため、複数の装置に障害が発生する場合において、複数系全断によりサービス提供不可となる状態か、一系統でも正常であり、サービス提供可能な状態であるかを、閲覧者が画面上で判断することが難しい。
 さらに、多重障害が発生する場合や、1つの障害が複数の階梯や装置に及ぶ場合等において、原因となる階梯や原因個所の特定を行うためには、時間軸をさかのぼって障害の発生個所や伝播状況を把握することが重要である。特に障害が最初に発生した個所を把握することが重要である。しかし、従来の表示方法では、ある時刻のネットワークの状況しか表示しないので、障害の発生や伝播の時間的な変化を閲覧者が画面上で把握することが難しい。
 そこで、本発明は、前記した問題を解決し、ネットワークの障害発生時に、画面表示装置の閲覧者が、画面上で障害の発生ポイントや、原因個所や、階梯や、り障範囲等を把握しやすい画面表示装置等を提供することを課題とする。
 前記した課題を解決するため、ネットワークの状況を示す画面を生成する画面表示装置を以下の構成とした。すなわち、本発明の画面表示装置は、(1)ネットワークを構成する装置ごとに、当該装置が、ネットワークにおける末端の装置、末端の装置へ各種データを送信するサーバ装置、サーバ装置と末端の装置との間でデータ転送を行う転送装置、および、転送装置および末端の装置を制御する制御装置、のいずれの属性であるかを示す情報と、当該装置の地図上の座標位置と、当該装置と現用系または予備系のペアになる装置があるとき、ペアとなる装置とを示した装置属性情報と、(2)装置の間の接続関係を示した装置間接続情報と、(3)属性ごとの、当該属性に対応する階梯と、当該階梯の装置の三次元表示画面上での高さ座標とを示す設定情報と、(4)ネットワークのフローごとの、フローの経由する装置を示した解析済みフロー情報と、(5)ネットワークの各装置および各装置間を接続するリンクそれぞれへの警報を示した警報情報と、をそれぞれの情報の時刻情報とともに記憶する記憶部と、どの時刻におけるネットワーク状況を表示するかを指示する表示時刻の選択入力を受け付け、処理部により生成されたネットワーク状況を示す三次元表示画面を表示装置に出力する入出力部と、三次元表示画面を生成する処理部とを備える。そして、この処理部は、装置間接続情報を参照して、選択入力された表示時刻における装置の間の接続関係を特定し、装置属性情報および設定情報を参照して、選択入力された表示時刻における装置の、三次元表示画面上のxy平面の座標位置およびz軸の座標位置を決定して、三次元表示画面上の決定した座標位置に装置を配置し、装置属性情報を参照して、選択入力された表示時刻において装置とペアになる装置があるとき、三次元表示画面上にペアになる装置群をペアとなる装置群であることを示す表示とともに配置し、警報情報を参照して、選択入力された表示時刻における、警報の対象となっている装置およびリンクがあれば警報を、三次元表示画面上の装置およびリンクの近傍に配置し、解析済みフロー情報を参照して、選択入力された表示時刻におけるフローを、三次元表示画面上におけるフローの経由するリンクに配置し、三次元表示画面上に、装置、装置間を接続するリンクおよびリンクを経由するフロー並びに装置およびリンクの警報情報を重畳して配置した表示画面を生成する。
 また、前記した画面表示装置と、警報情報および解析済みフロー情報の素となる情報を、画面表示装置へ送信する、ネットワークを構成する装置と、を備えるシステムとした。
 このように画面表示装置は、三次元表示画面上に装置の階梯に応じて高さを変えた表示をするので、画面の閲覧者が、異常の発生した装置がどの階梯の装置かを一目で認識でき、障害の重要度を把握しやすくなる。また、閲覧者は、異常の原因となっている階梯を把握しやすくなる。また、画面表示装置は、表示画面上に装置の地理的な位置関係を表示するので、閲覧者は、り障範囲を把握しやすくなる。さらに、画面表示装置は、三次元表示画面上に現用系・予備系でペアとなる装置群を表示するので、閲覧者が、障害発生時にどちらか一系統でもサービスを提供可能である状態かを、判断しやすくなる。また、画面表示装置は、閲覧者が選択した任意の時刻におけるネットワークの状況の表示を行うので、障害の発生や伝播の時間的な変化を画面上で把握しやすくなる。
 また、前記した画面表示装置の設定情報における装置の三次元表示画面上での高さ座標を、ネットワークの末端に位置する属性の装置ほど低い座標とした。
 このようすることで画面表示装置は、ネットワークの末端に近い装置ほど、三次元表示画面上で低い位置に表示するので、画面の閲覧者が、異常の発生した装置がネットワークの末端に近い装置か否かを一目で認識できる。
 また、前記した画面表示装置の処理部は、入力された表示時刻から所定時刻までの各時刻における三次元表示画面を生成し、生成した三次元表示画面を入出力部経由で連続的に表示する。
 このようにすることで、画面表示装置の画面の閲覧者は、障害の発生や伝播の時間的な変化を画面上でさらに把握しやすくなる。
 また、前記した画面表示装置の処理部は、装置、リンク、フローおよび警報情報の重なりを低減するように調整した三次元表示画面を生成する。
 このようにすることで、画面表示装置の画面の閲覧者は、障害の発生ポイントや、原因個所や、階梯や、り障範囲等を画面上でさらに把握しやすくなる。
 また、前記した画面表示装置の処理部は、入出力部経由で、三次元表示画面の視点および方向の選択入力を受け付けたとき、選択された視点および方向から見た三次元表示画面を生成する。
 このようにすることで、画面表示装置の画面の閲覧者は、障害の発生ポイントや、原因個所や、階梯や、り障範囲等を画面上でさらに把握しやすくなる。
 本発明によれば、複数階梯によって構成されるネットワークの情報や警報情報を三次元表示画面上に表示するので、画面表示装置の画面の閲覧者が障害の発生ポイントや、原因個所や、階梯や、り障範囲等を把握しやすくなる。

 以下、図9~図19を参照しながら、本発明を実施するための形態(以下、実施の形態という)について説明する。ここでは、図9に示すようにネットワーク(NW)が、サーバ等の上位サービス装置161、NWの末端の装置である下位サービス装置101,102,103、各装置間のデータ転送を行う転送装置121,122およびこの転送装置121,122や下位サービス装置101~103の制御を行う制御装置141で構成されており、これらの装置が図9に示すようにリンク接続されている場合を例に説明する。以下に示す表示画面例では、説明のため三次元空間のxyz軸を示したが、このxyz軸の表示は必須ではない。
 本実施の形態の画面表示装置200(後記する図12参照)は、図9に例示するように、NWの全装置の階梯や接続関係、現用系・予備系でペアとなる装置群を、三次元表示画面に表示する。そして、障害発生時には、この三次元表示画面上に警報情報を表示する(図10参照)。ここでは、まず画面表示装置200が生成する表示画面の概要を説明し、画面表示装置200の構成および処理手順については図12~図14を用いて後記する。
 画面表示装置200は、図9に例示するように、xyz軸で表される三次元空間のうちxy平面に地図情報を重畳する。そして、画面表示装置200は、各装置の設置される位置の緯度・経度等の地理情報を用いて、各装置の地図上の配置位置を表現する。これにより、画面表示装置200の画面の閲覧者は、画面上で、障害発生時に障害の影響を受けた地域や影響ユーザ数を推測しやすくなる。また、画面表示装置200は、装置間接続情報(後記する図13参照)を基に、接続関係にある装置間を線(リンク)で結ぶ。これにより、閲覧者は、画面上で、装置間の接続関係を把握し、障害発生時における、り障範囲を推測しやすくなる。なお、画面表示装置200は、装置間のリンクと、制御リンク151(制御プレーンのリンク)と、サービスリンク152(サービスプレーンのリンク)とをそれぞれ区別可能な表示とする。例えば、図9に示すように、画面表示装置200は、装置間のリンクを実線、制御プレーン上のリンクを破線、サービスプレーン上のリンクを三重線で表示する。これにより、閲覧者は、各プレーンから見た各装置間の接続関係を把握しやすくなる。
 さらに、画面表示装置200は、画面上で、三次元空間のz軸(高さ)を利用して、各装置の属性を階梯で表現する。ここでの属性は、各装置を、上位サービス装置、下位サービス装置、転送装置および制御装置のいずれかに分類したものである。図9に示した例では、各属性のうち、上位サービス装置161の階梯を最上位の階梯とし、下位サービス装置101~103の階梯を最下位の階梯としている。また、転送装置121,122の階梯を下から二番目の階梯とし、制御装置141の階梯を下から三番目の階梯としている。
 画面表示装置200は、画面上において、同じ階梯(属性)の装置群を同じ高さのxy平面に配置し、異なる階梯の装置群をそれぞれ異なる高さのxy平面に配置する。例えば、図9に示すように、装置の属する各階梯をそれぞれ階層1~階層4の高さのxy平面に配置する。これにより、閲覧者は、障害発生時に、画面上で、異常の発生した装置がどの階梯(属性)の装置なのかを把握しやすくなる。また、画面表示装置200は、最下位の階梯の上の階梯に装置が存在する個所については、画面上で高さを示す目印(立方体、物差し等)を併記するようにしてもよい。例えば、図9に示すように、末端階梯より上の階梯の装置が存在する個所(下位サービス装置102、転送装置122および上位サービス装置161)について、画面表示装置200は、これらの装置群を重要ビル155として立方体で囲む。このようにすることで、閲覧者は、各装置の階梯を視認しやすくなる。
 また、画面表示装置200は、図10に例示するように、装置およびリンクの障害警報を三次元表示画面に重畳する。例えば、NWのある装置に障害が発生し、その障害がその装置の配下の装置やリンクに波及する場合は、三次元表示画面に、障害の原因となる装置とその周辺に警報情報が表示される。これにより、閲覧者は、表示画面上で障害の原因個所を容易に把握可能となる。さらに、画面表示装置200は、複数の装置で、現用系・予備系を組む装置については、画面上において、これら装置群を線で囲む等してグループを明示する。例えば、図9,10に示すように同じグループの装置群を楕円154で囲む。これにより、現用系・予備系を組む装置群を、閲覧者が画面上で認識しやすくなる。よって、ある装置の障害発生時における、サービスの影響度を、閲覧者が画面上で推測しやすくなる。
 例えば、図10に示す例では、一点鎖線156で囲まれた装置群の両系(転送装置121,122)がダウンした場合を示している。この装置群の両系ダウンが原因となり、この影響が他の装置にも波及し、大量の警報が発出されている。従来の表示画面では、表示画面上の大量の警報の羅列が表示されるのみであるので、閲覧者が異常の原因個所を把握することは難しい。しかし、画面表示装置200は、表示画面上に原因個所を中心として警報をマッピングするので、閲覧者が表示画面上で異常の原因(中心)となる個所を推測しやすくなる。また、表示画面上に、装置やリンクの警報表示により、閲覧者はり障範囲を推測しやすくなる。
 さらに、図10では、画面表示装置200は、NWの警報や障害の発生状況の表示について、閲覧者が選択した任意の時刻におけるNWの警報や障害の発生状況を表示する。例えば、画面表示装置200は、表示画面上に、閲覧者から、NWの警報や障害の発生状況の表示について、いつの時刻の状況を表示すべきかの指示入力を受け付ける時間軸バー159を表示し、この時間軸バーで選択された時刻におけるNWの警報や障害の発生状況を三次元表示画面上に表示する。このようにすることで、閲覧者は、三次元表示画面上に任意の時刻におけるNWの警報や障害の発生状況を表示させることができる。これにより、閲覧者は、例えば、現在から過去に遡ってNWの警報や障害の発生状況を確認できるので、障害の発生源となった装置やリンクを特定しやすくなる。
 さらに、図11に示すように、画面表示装置200は、三次元表示画面上にフロー157(パケットの流れ)を示す破線矢印を重畳して表示するとともに、障害によりそのフローが途絶するポイントがあれば、そのポイント158を×印で示す。これにより、閲覧者は異常の原因個所を推測しやすくなる。
<構成>
 次に、図12を用いて、画面表示装置200の構成を説明する。画面表示装置200は、前記したとおり、NWの全装置の階梯や接続関係、複数系を組む個所の情報、各種警報や障害の発生状況を示した三次元表示画面を生成する。この画面表示装置200は、NWを構成する各装置(例えば、図9に示す転送装置121,122、制御装置141、上位サービス装置161、下位サービス装置101~103)と接続されており、これらの装置から、NWに関する警報やフローの流量情報を受信する。また、画面表示装置200は、閲覧者から画面表示に関する各種指示入力を受け付けるキーボードやマウス等の入力装置400を接続している。また、画面表示装置200は、画面表示を行う液晶ディスプレイ等の表示装置300を接続している。画面表示装置200は、入力装置400からの指示入力と、各装置から受信した情報とに基づき、NWの状況を示す三次元表示画面を生成し、表示装置300に出力表示する。閲覧者は、この三次元表示画面を見ることでNWの状況を確認する。
 画面表示装置200の機能は、記憶部210、処理部220および入出力部230に分けられる。記憶部210には、NWを構成する各装置の接続関係や、NWに関する警報やフローの流量情報等、処理部220の表示画面生成時に参照される各種データ等が記憶される。処理部220は、入出力部230から入力された指示入力に基づき、記憶部210の各種情報を参照して、表示画面を生成し、入出力部230経由で表示装置300に表示する。入出力部230は、入力装置400からの各種指示入力を受け付け、処理部220へ出力する。また、入出力部230は、処理部220で生成された表示画面を、表示装置300に出力表示する。
 なお、入出力部230は、インターネットやLAN(Local Area Network)等のNW経由で他の装置と通信を行うための通信インタフェースや入出力インタフェースから構成される。また、処理部220は、この画面表示装置200が備えるCPU(Central Processing Unit)によるプログラム実行処理や、専用回路等により実現される。さらに、記憶部210は、RAM(Random Access Memory)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、HDD(Hard Disk Drive)、フラッシュメモリ等の記憶媒体から構成される。なお、処理部220の機能をプログラム実行処理により実現する場合、記憶部210には、この処理部220の機能を実現するためのプログラムが格納される。
 記憶部210は、装置情報保存部211と、警報保存部212と、流量情報保存部213と、設定保存部214とを備える。
 装置情報保存部211は、装置属性情報保存部2111と装置接続関係保存部2112とを備える。装置属性情報保存部2111は、装置属性情報(図13参照)を記憶している。この装置属性情報は、各時刻における、NWの各装置の属性(階梯)と、当該装置の地図上の座標位置(緯度、経度の組み合わせ)と、当該装置に現用系または予備系のペアとなる装置(複数系装置)がある場合のペアとなる装置とを示した情報である。図13に例示する装置属性情報は、装置番号(装置の識別情報)ごとに、その装置の装置名と、階梯と、階梯の番号(階梯番号)と、経度および緯度と、複数系装置とを示している。
 図12の装置接続関係保存部2112は、各時刻における装置間接続情報(図13参照)を記憶している。この装置間接続情報は、NWにおける各装置の接続関係を示した情報である。図13に例示する装置間接続情報は、接続番号ごとに、装置の装置番号と、装置名と、その装置にリンク接続される装置の装置番号と、装置名とを示している。この装置間接続情報は、図13に例示するように、物理的な接続情報(接続関係情報1)の他に、制御プレーンにおける接続情報(接続関係情報2)と、サービスプレーンにおける接続情報(接続関係情報3)とを含んでいてよい。
 図12の警報保存部212は、各時刻における、NWの各装置やリンクへの警報情報を記憶している。この警報情報は、警報解析部223(後記)により作成される。
 流量情報保存部213は、各時刻における、解析済みフロー情報を記憶している。この解析済みフロー情報は、各フローの経由装置を示した情報であり、流量情報解析部224(後記)により作成される。
 設定保存部214は、設定情報を記憶している。この設定情報は、装置の階梯ごとに、当該階梯の表示画面上のz軸の座標(高さ)情報を示した情報である。設定情報は、例えば、図13に示すように、装置の属する階梯ごとに、その階梯の表示階層を示した属性階層設定情報と、表示階層ごとに、その表示階層の高さ座標を示した階層座標設定情報とにより構成される。設定情報における各装置の高さ座標は、NWの末端に位置する属性の装置ほど低い座標としている。なお、図13に示す重要ビル情報は、図12の処理部220が、末端階梯以外の装置が配置される個所に、立方体の重要ビル155で高さを示す目印(図9参照)を画面上に表示するときに参照される情報である。
 次に、処理部220を説明する。処理部220は、装置属性情報解析部221と、装置接続関係解析部222と、警報解析部223と、流量情報解析部224と、座標計算部225と、表示用情報生成部226とを備える。破線で示した視点決定部227は、装備する場合と装備しない場合とがあり、装備する場合については後記する。
 装置属性情報解析部221は、入出力部230経由で表示画面の時間軸バー159(図10参照)等により選択入力された時刻(表示時刻)に対応する装置属性情報を装置属性情報保存部2111から読み出す。
 装置接続関係解析部222は、入出力部230経由で時間軸バー159等により選択入力された時刻における装置間接続情報を読み出し、2つの装置間の装置間接続情報をつなぎあわせてNW全体の装置間接続構造を求める。
 警報解析部223は、警報受信部231(後記)経由でNWの各装置からの警報を取得し、警報の対象であるリンクや装置と、警報の発生時刻とを対応付けた警報情報を作成し、警報保存部212に保存する。
 流量情報解析部224は、流量情報受信部232(後記)経由でNWの各装置からの通過フロー情報を受信する。そして、流量情報解析部224は、受信した通過フロー情報をつなぎあわせて、各フローが経由する装置を割り出し、各フローが経由する装置と、通過フロー情報の受信時刻とを対応付けた解析済みフロー情報を作成する。流量情報解析部224は、作成した解析済みフロー情報を流量情報保存部213に保存する。
 座標計算部225は、入出力部230経由で選択入力された時刻における各種情報を記憶部210から取得し、三次元表示画面における各装置、リンク、警報、フロー等の座標位置を決定する。この座標計算部225の詳細は後記する。
 表示用情報生成部226は、座標計算部225から出力された座標データに基づき各装置、各装置間を接続するリンク、リンクを経由するフローおよび各装置およびリンクの警報情報を重畳して配置した三次元表示画面を生成し、入出力部230へ出力する。
 入出力部230は、表示装置300や、入力装置400、NWの各装置との入出力インタフェースを司る。この入出力部230は、警報受信部231と、流量情報受信部232と、表示部233と、操作部234とを備える。
 警報受信部231は、NWの各装置からの警報情報を受信し、受信した警報情報を警報解析部223へ出力する。
 流量情報受信部232は、NWの各装置からの通過フロー情報を受信し、受信した通過フロー情報を流量情報解析部224へ出力する。
 表示部233は、表示用情報生成部226で生成された三次元表示画面を表示装置300へ出力する。
 操作部234は、入力装置400経由で入力された情報を座標計算部225へ出力する。
 次に、座標計算部225を詳細に説明する。座標計算部225は、装置属性情報解析部221から、装置属性情報(図13参照)を取得し、装置接続関係解析部222から、装置間接続情報(図13参照)を取得し、設定保存部214から、設定情報(図13参照)を取得する。また、座標計算部225は、警報保存部212から各装置やリンクに紐づけられた警報情報を取得し、流量情報保存部213から解析済フロー情報を取得する。
 そして、座標計算部225は、装置間接続情報を参照して、選択された時刻における装置および装置間のリンクを特定する。また、座標計算部225は、装置属性情報(図13参照)および設定情報(図13参照)を参照して、特定した装置および装置間のリンクの、三次元表示画面上のxy軸の座標位置と、各装置の属する階梯に対応するz軸の座標位置とを決定する。さらに、座標計算部225は、装置属性情報(図13参照)を参照して、ある装置と現用系・予備系のペアとなる装置があるとき、三次元表示画面上に、このペアとなる装置群をペアとなる装置群であることを示す表示とともに配置する。例えば、図10の表示画面例に示すように、ペアとなる装置群付近にこれらの装置を囲む楕円154を配置する。さらに、座標計算部225は、三次元表示画面上での装置間の接続関係の交差や、各階層内での装置重なりを低減するよう配置位置を調整する。
 また、座標計算部225は、警報情報を参照して、選択された表示時刻の警報があれば、図10に示すように、その警報を、三次元表示画面上の警報の対象となる装置およびリンクの近傍に配置する。さらに、座標計算部225は、解析済みフロー情報を参照して、選択された表示時刻におけるフロー157を、図11に示すように、三次元表示画面上のフローの経由するリンクに配置する。そして、座標計算部225は、三次元表示画面上に、装置、リンク、フローおよび警報情報を重畳して配置したデータ(座標データ)を表示用情報生成部226へ出力する。表示用情報生成部226は、この座標データに基づき、図10や図11に例示するような三次元表示画面を生成する。
<処理手順>
 次に、図12,13を参照しつつ、図14を用いて画面表示装置200の処理手順を説明する。
 図12の画面表示装置200の操作部234が、表示画面上の時間軸バー159(図10参照)等による選択入力により、入力装置400から時刻の選択入力を受け付けると、装置属性情報解析部221は、装置属性情報保存部2111から、この選択された時刻に対応する属性情報を取得する(図14のS1)。これにより、各装置の属性(階梯)と、各装置のxy軸の座標位置とが分かる。
 また、装置接続関係解析部222は、装置接続関係保存部2112から、選択された時刻に対応する装置間接続情報(図13参照)を取得し、NW全体の装置間接続構造を求める(S2)。
 さらに、座標計算部225は、設定保存部214から、選択された時刻に対応する設定情報を取得する(S3)。これにより、各装置の属する階梯に対応するz軸の座標が分かる。
 次に、座標計算部225は、S1で取得した装置属性情報、S2で求めた装置間接続構造およびS3で取得した設定情報を参照して、装置および装置間のリンクの、三次元表示画面上のxy軸の座標位置と、各装置の属する階梯に対応するz軸の座標位置とを決定する(S4)。このとき、座標計算部225は、装置属性情報(図13参照)を参照して、ある装置と現用系・予備系のペアとなる装置がある場合、ペアとなる装置群を囲む表示(楕円154等)を三次元表示画面上に配置する(図9参照)。さらに、複数階梯のまたがる装置群が設置される個所に、ビル等の目印を配置する場合には、座標計算部225は、設定情報に含まれるビル情報(図13参照)を参照して、三次元表示画面上に重要ビル155(立方体)等の目印を配置する(図9参照)。
 さらに、座標計算部225は、三次元表示画面上での装置間の接続関係の交差や、各階層内での装置の重なりを低減するよう各装置およびリンクの座標位置を調整する(S5)。
 警報解析部223は、警報受信部231が既に受信している警報を取得する(S6)。そして、警報解析部223は、装置属性情報解析部221より装置属性情報(図13参照)を取得し、警報の対象となる装置およびリンクを特定する。そして、警報解析部223は、この警報の対象となるリンクおよび装置と、警報発生時刻とを紐づけた警報情報を作成し、警報保存部212に出力する。これにより、警報保存部212に最新の警報情報が保存される。
 座標計算部225は、警報保存部212に保存された警報情報のうち、S1で選択された時刻における警報情報に記載の装置と、S5で調整した各装置およびリンクの座標位置とを参照して、三次元表示画面上での警報情報の座標位置を決定する(S7)。
 また、座標計算部225は、流量情報保存部213から、S1で選択された時刻における解析済みフロー情報を参照して、三次元表示画面上に、各フローを当該フローの経由するリンクに配置する(S8)。そして、座標計算部225は、三次元表示画面上に、NWの装置、リンク、フローおよび警報情報を重畳して配置したデータ(座標データ)を表示用情報生成部226へ出力する。
 表示用情報生成部226は、出力された座標データをもとに、三次元表示画面上に、装置、リンク、フローおよび警報情報を重畳して配置した三次元表示画面を生成し(S9)、表示装置300へ出力する(S12)。
 破線で示したS10およびS11は実行する場合と実行しない場合とがある。実行する場合については後記する。
 これにより表示装置300には、複数階梯によって構成される装置、現用系・予備系のペアとなる装置群、フロー、警報情報等が表示された三次元表示画面が表示される。このような表示画面によれば、NWの障害の発生ポイントや、原因個所や、階梯や、り障範囲等を画面の閲覧者が把握しやすくなる。
<絞り込み>
 なお、図12の画面表示装置200の表示用情報生成部226は、入力装置400経由で入力された指示入力に基づき、三次元表示画面に表示する情報の絞り込みをするようにしてもよい。例えば、表示用情報生成部226は、指示入力に基づき、図15に示すように、画面上に、制御およびサービスに関する項目(ここでは、装置とリンク)を表示し、装置間リンクおよび転送装置を非表示としてもよい。
<視点の移動>
 また、画面表示装置200は、三次元表示画面生成において、どの視点のどの方向から見た三次元表示画面を生成するかの選択入力を受け付けてもよい。つまり、画面表示装置200は、画面表示において、視点の位置および向き(以下、まとめて「視点」とする)を自由に選択可能としてもよい。すなわち、例えば、画面表示装置200は、画面の閲覧者の選択入力に基づき、図16Aに示す三次元表示画面を、視点1(垂直な視点)や視点2(水平な視点)から見た表示画面を表示してもよい(図16Bまたは図16C参照)。
 この場合、画面表示装置200は、図12に示す視点決定部227をさらに備える。そして、図14に示すS9の処理の後、視点決定部227は、操作部234経由で視点の選択入力を受け付けると、この視点に対応する三次元表示画面のカメラ座標位置および方向を決定する(S10)。そして、視点決定部227は、表示用情報生成部226へ、カメラ座標位置を出力する。その後、表示用情報生成部226は、カメラ座標位置および方向と、座標計算部225で決定した装置の座標位置とに基づき、表示画面を生成する(S11)。つまり、座標計算部225は、S9で生成した三次元表示画面を、S10で選択された視点から見た表示画面を生成する。そして、表示用情報生成部226は、生成された表示画面を、表示部233へ出力する(S12)。
 例えば、図16Aに示す三次元表示画面上おいて、視点1が選択されたときは、図16Bに示すような垂直な視点から見た図(平面図)が生成され、視点2が選択されたときは、図16Cに示すような水平な視点から見た図(立面図)が生成される。そして、表示用情報生成部226は、図16Aに示す視点1,2で見たときの表示画面上に警報も併記し、図17Aおよび図17Bに示すような表示画面を生成する。
 さらに、表示用情報生成部226は、閲覧者の指示入力に基づき、NWの一部の装置およびリンクに絞り込んだ表示をしてもよい。例えば、表示用情報生成部226は、図17Cに示すように、サービスプレーンの装置およびリンクに絞り込んだ表示をしてもよい。これにより、画面の閲覧者は、NWの一部の装置およびリンクの状況確認をしやすくなり、表示画面上で、障害の原因個所や、り障範囲をより推測しやすくなる。
<警報の表示の仕方>
 また、表示用情報生成部226は、表示画面上において、警報の種別により異なる表示色や大きさ等で警報を表示することで、画面の閲覧者が重要障害発生ポイントを識別しや
すくするようにしてもよい。例えば、表示用情報生成部226は、図18に示すように、重要度が高い警報と、重要度が低い警報とを異なる大きさのアイコンで表示して識別できるようにしてもよい。さらに、表示用情報生成部226は、直近所定時間以内に発出された警報を点滅等で表示してもよい。これにより、画面の閲覧者は、表示画面上でNWの状況変化を把握しやすくなる。
<プレイバック表示>
 さらに、画面表示装置200は、画面の閲覧者が選択した過去のある時刻から現在までのNWの障害の状況の変化を連続的に表示するようにしてもよい。すなわち、画面表示装置200は、過去から現在までのNW状況をプレイバック表示できるようにしてもよい。
 例えば、図19に示した障害発生の例において、NWの転送装置121で障害が発生し、次いで、転送装置122で障害が発生し、NW全体でリンク警報が発出した場合を考える。この場合、図12の表示用情報生成部226は、閲覧者により表示画面上の時間軸バー159等で選択された過去のある時刻から現在までのNWの状況を示す三次元表示画面を生成する。そして、表示用情報生成部226は、表示部233経由で、表示装置300に、これらの三次元表示画面を連続的に表示する。例えば、表示用情報生成部226は、図19Cに示す現在の状況表示の画面上の時間軸バー159が左側に動かされることにより選択された時刻に基づき、図19Aに示す過去の状況表示の画面を表示した後、図19Bに示す過去の次の状況表示の画面を表示し、その後、図19Cに示す現在の状況表示の画面に戻る。これにより、閲覧者は、NWのどの装置が障害の起因となっており、警報の初発個所となっているかや、警報や障害の発生状況について、表示画面上で順を追って確認しやすくなる。
 なお、前記した実施の形態において、三次元表示画面上の各装置の階梯を把握しやすいように重要ビル155等の目印を表示することとしたが、これに限定されない。例えば、画面表示装置200は、三次元表示画面上に、xyz軸のうちz軸の表示をしたり、あるいは階梯(階層)の目安となる線等を表示したりするようにしてもよい。

Claims (7)

  1.  ネットワークの状況を示す画面を生成する画面表示装置であって、
     (1)前記ネットワークを構成する装置ごとに、当該装置が、前記ネットワークにおける末端の装置、前記末端の装置へ各種データを送信するサーバ装置、前記サーバ装置と末端の装置との間でデータ転送を行う転送装置、および、前記転送装置および前記末端の装置を制御する制御装置、のいずれの属性であるかを示す情報と、当該装置の地図上の座標位置と、当該装置と現用系または予備系のペアになる装置があるとき、前記ペアとなる装置とを示した装置属性情報と、(2)前記装置の間の接続関係を示した装置間接続情報と、(3)前記属性ごとの、当該属性に対応する階梯と、当該階梯の装置の三次元表示画面上での高さ座標とを示す設定情報と、(4)前記ネットワークのフローごとの、前記フローの経由する装置を示した解析済みフロー情報と、(5)前記ネットワークの各装置および前記各装置間を接続するリンクそれぞれへの警報を示した警報情報と、をそれぞれの情報の時刻情報とともに記憶する記憶部と、
     どの時刻におけるネットワーク状況を表示するかを指示する表示時刻の選択入力を受け付け、処理部により生成された前記ネットワーク状況を示す三次元表示画面を前記表示装置に出力する入出力部と、
     前記三次元表示画面を生成する処理部とを備え、
     前記処理部は、
     前記装置間接続情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻における前記装置の間の接続関係を特定し、
     前記装置属性情報および前記設定情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻における前記装置の、前記三次元表示画面上のxy平面の座標位置およびz軸の座標位置を決定して、前記三次元表示画面上の前記決定した座標位置に前記装置を配置し、
     前記装置属性情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻において前記装置とペアになる装置があるとき、前記三次元表示画面上に前記ペアになる装置群をペアとなる装置群であることを示す表示とともに配置し、
     前記警報情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻における、前記警報の対象となっている装置およびリンクがあれば前記警報を、前記三次元表示画面上の前記装置およびリンクの近傍に配置し、
     前記解析済みフロー情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻におけるフローを、前記三次元表示画面上における前記フローの経由するリンクに配置し、
     前記三次元表示画面上に、前記装置、前記装置間を接続するリンクおよび前記リンクを経由するフロー並びに前記装置およびリンクの警報情報を重畳して配置した表示画面を生成することを特徴とする画面表示装置。
  2.  前記設定情報における前記装置の前記三次元表示画面上での高さ座標は、前記ネットワークの末端に位置する属性の装置ほど低い座標であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画面表示装置。
  3.  前記処理部は、
     前記入力された表示時刻から所定時刻までの各時刻における前記三次元表示画面を生成し、前記生成した前記三次元表示画面を前記入出力部経由で連続的に表示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画面表示装置。
  4.  前記処理部は、
     前記装置、リンク、フローおよび警報情報の重なりを低減するように調整した前記三次元表示画面を生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画面表示装置。
  5.  前記処理部は、
     前記入出力部経由で、前記三次元表示画面の視点および方向の選択入力を受け付けたとき、前記選択された視点および方向から見た前記三次元表示画面を生成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画面表示装置。
  6.  請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の画面表示装置と、前記警報情報および前記解析済みフロー情報の素となる情報を、前記画面表示装置へ送信する前記ネットワークを構成する装置とを備えるシステム。
  7.  ネットワークの状況を示す画面を生成する画面表示装置による表示画面生成方法であって、
     (1)前記ネットワークを構成する装置ごとに、当該装置が、前記ネットワークにおける末端の装置、前記末端の装置へ各種データを送信するサーバ装置、前記サーバ装置と末端の装置との間でデータ転送を行う転送装置、および、前記転送装置および前記末端の装置を制御する制御装置、のいずれの属性であるかを示す情報と、当該装置の地図上の座標位置と、当該装置と現用系または予備系のペアになる装置があるとき、前記ペアとなる装置とを示した装置属性情報と、(2)前記装置の間の接続関係を示した装置間接続情報と、(3)前記属性ごとの、当該属性に対応する階梯と、当該階梯の装置の三次元表示画面上での高さ座標とを示す設定情報と、(4)前記ネットワークのフローごとの、前記フローの経由する装置を示した解析済みフロー情報と、(5)前記ネットワークの各装置および前記各装置間を接続するリンクそれぞれへの警報を示した警報情報と、をそれぞれの情報の時刻情報とともに記憶する記憶部と、
     どの時刻におけるネットワーク状況を表示するかを指示する表示時刻の選択入力を受け付け、処理部により生成された前記ネットワーク状況を示す三次元表示画面を前記表示装置に出力する入出力部と、
     前記三次元表示画面を生成する前記処理部とを備える前記画面表示装置において、前記処理部が、
     前記装置間接続情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻における前記装置の間の接続関係を特定するステップと、
     前記装置属性情報および前記設定情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻における前記装置の、前記三次元表示画面上のxy平面の座標位置およびz軸の座標位置を決定して、前記三次元表示画面上の前記決定した座標位置に前記装置を配置するステップと、
     前記装置属性情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻において前記装置とペアになる装置があるとき、前記三次元表示画面上に前記ペアになる装置群をペアとなる装置群であることを示す表示とともに配置するステップと、
     前記警報情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻における、前記警報の対象となっている装置およびリンクがあれば前記警報を、前記三次元表示画面上の前記装置およびリンクの近傍に配置するステップと、
     前記解析済みフロー情報を参照して、前記選択入力された表示時刻におけるフローを、前記三次元表示画面上における前記フローの経由するリンクに配置するステップと、
     前記三次元表示画面上に、前記装置、前記装置間を接続するリンクおよび前記リンクを経由するフロー並びに前記装置およびリンクの警報情報を重畳して配置した表示画面を生成するステップと、
     を実行することを特徴とする画面生成方法。
