Description
Claims (15)
- A wireless power transmission apparatus comprising:a radio frequency (RF) amplifier unit;a main body which comprises a transmission resonator unit; anda support which is disposed on a side surface of the main body,wherein the transmission resonator unit provides a horizontal magnetic field to a first power reception apparatus placed on the support using a transmission conductive wire loop, andwherein the first power reception apparatus comprises a first reception conductive wire loop in which a loop surface is perpendicular to the horizontal magnetic field.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transmission resonator unit provides a vertical magnetic field to a second power reception apparatus placed on the main body using the transmission conductive wire loop,wherein the second power reception apparatus comprises a second reception conductive wire loop in which a loop surface is perpendicular to the vertical magnetic field.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the main body has a cylindrical shape,wherein the support has a disk shape.wherein the transmission conductive wire loop has a cylindrical shape.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transmission resonator unit further comprises a resonance capacitor and a feeder conductive wire loop which induces electric current to the transmission conductive wire loop.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the wireless power transmission apparatus has transmission efficiency which is proportional to Root(Qs*Qd), where Qs is a Q value of the power transmission apparatus and Qd is a Q value of the power reception apparatus.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transmission resonator unit has a variable resonant frequency, and has a resonant frequency ranging from 1 MHz to 30 MHz.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the RF amplifier unit has a variable operating frequency.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transmission conductive wire loop is in contact with an inner edge of the main body.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the transmission conductive wire loop generates a vertical magnetic field and the horizontal magnetic field simultaneously.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a shielding member between the RF amplifier unit and the transmission resonator unit,wherein the shielding member is a ferrite sheet.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the RF amplifier unit is enclosed by a shield case,wherein the shield case is formed by tinning.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the wireless power transmission apparatus is formed to have a predetermined gap between the RF amplifier unit and the transmission resonator unit.
- The wireless power transmission apparatus as claimed in claim 2, wherein the first power reception apparatus is one of three-dimensional (3D) glasses, a mobile phone, and a remote controller,wherein the second power reception apparatus is one of 3D glasses, a mobile phone, and a remote controller.
- A wireless power transmission system comprising:a power transmission apparatus which generates a vertical magnetic field and a horizontal magnetic field simultaneously;a first power reception apparatus which comprises a first reception conductive wire loop in which a loop surface is perpendicular to the horizontal magnetic field; anda second power reception apparatus which comprises a second reception conductive wire loop in which a loop surface is perpendicular to the vertical magnetic field.
- The wireless power transmission system as claimed in claim 14, wherein the power transmission apparatus comprises:a main body which comprises a transmission resonator; anda support which is disposed on a side surface of the main body,wherein the transmission resonator provides the horizontal magnetic field to the first power reception apparatus placed on the support, and provides the vertical magnetic field to the second power reception apparatus placed on the main body.
