Abstract

An apparatus (10) comprising a display (28), input device (30), display processor (38), and command processor (40) and a method for using same. The display (28) may receive a composite display signal (26) and render a composite image corresponding thereto viewable by a user. The input device (30) may receive commands (32, 34, 36) from a user. The display processor (38) may receive display signals (18) of disparate forms from each of various electronic devices (12), generate the composite display signal (26) to define multiple windows (80) wherein each of the display signals (18) corresponds to at least one window (80), and transmit the composite display signal (26) to the display (28). The command processor (40) may be programmed to route at least one of the commands (32, 34, 36) to at least one device of the various electronic devices (12), and configured to selectively control and save for reuse by a user, according to the commands (32, 34, 36) received from a user through the input device (30), the relative size, position, or the like of each window (80) presented on the display (28).
