Abstract

A programmable weight device capable of storing a plurality of user profiles which includes a biometric. The scale includes a biometric identifying system (8), which preferably operates automatically when the user is standing on the scale platform (4) and which may includes a toe print scanner (14). The scale also includes a communication device, or display (10), and a data entry module (12).
