Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing internet sites (2) for restaurants, pharmacies or the like on the internet. The aim of the invention is to make the production of internet sites (2) for the user as easy as possible. To this end, the following successive steps are provided: a) providing a kit (3) with at least one form for inputting analog text information and one camera (5) with a film (6) for recording analog image information; b) inputting analog text information on the form (4) and recording analog image information by means of the camera (5); c) returning the camera (5) with film (6) or only the film (6) and the form (4) to a collection center (16); d) taking a picture (18) that comprises at least one image information; e) scanning at least one picture (18) and the form (4) and digitizing the scanned data; f) storing the digitized data in a data base (20); and g) producing, while using a computer, an internet site (2) using said digitized data.

The invention relates to a method and a system for creating Internet pages and a novel set for a system of the aforementioned type.

In practice, the creation of Internet pages is generally a major problem for many traders and also private individuals, who are always referred to below as users. Often there is a lack of knowledge, but also not enough time, to create an Internet page itself to create or set up. The above-mentioned problems prevent many users from presenting themselves on corresponding websites and thus using the known and recognized possibilities that the Internet offers.

The object of the present invention is to simplify the creation of Internet pages for users.

To achieve the above-mentioned object, a method with the following successive steps is now provided in a first, particularly simple and inexpensive embodiment:

a) providing a set with at least one form for recording text information and a camera with film for recording analog image information,

b) specification of analog text information on the form and recording of analog image information via the camera,

c) returning the camera with film or only the film and the form to a collection station,

d) taking at least one photo having image information,

e) scanning at least one photo and the form and digitizing the scanned data, f) storing the digitized data in a database and

g) computer-controlled creation of an Internet page using the digitized data.

The following successive steps are provided in an alternative embodiment of the method according to the invention:

a) providing a set with at least one form for recording analog text information,

b) specification of analog text information on the form,

c) returning the form to a collecting station,

d) scanning the form and digitizing the scanned data,

e) storing the digitized data in a database and

f) computer-controlled creation of an Internet site using the digitized data.

According to the device, the system according to the invention for carrying out the method mentioned at the outset has a plurality of sets which are provided with at least one form for recording analog text information and a camera with film for recording analog image information. The system also has a collection station for receiving the sets from the user and a development station for developing the film and taking photos. Furthermore, the system is provided with a scanner device on the one hand for scanning the form and correspondingly developed photos which have been taken with the camera, and on the other hand for subsequently digitizing the scanned data. Furthermore, the system has a computer device coupled to the scanner device with a database for storing the scanned data and a connection of the computer device for connection to the Internet. The invention creates for the first time in a particularly simple manner the possibility of creating Internet pages for a user. A major part of the creation of the Internet pages is done by the website manufacturer, namely providing the set, developing the film, taking the photos if necessary, scanning and digitizing the scanned data, storing the digitized data in a database and only computer-controlled creation of the website using the digitized data. The exclusively computer-controlled creation of the website, which is an essential aspect of the invention, is carried out via an operating system, so that any manual programming is eliminated. This not only eliminates errors in individual programming, this method is also unusually fast. All the user has to do is fill out the form and take the desired pictures on the camera. The necessary tools are provided to the user in the form of the set by the website manufacturer.

The alternatives specified in patent claims 1 and 2 differ in that, in the alternative specified in patent claim 2, the Internet page is basically only generated using analog text information. The use of a camera is not absolutely necessary. For the rest, the alternative specified in claim 2 also of course basically allows a camera, specifically special also to use a digital camera. In such a case, the digitized data from the digital camera would be fed directly to the database without the need for scanning. However, the alternative specified in claim 2 using a digital camera is disadvantageous in that digital cameras are associated with comparatively high costs, which is not the case with analog cameras as are provided for in the alternative specified in claim 1. The alternative specified in claim 2 also allows the user to provide no analog image information via a camera provided by the website manufacturer, but instead a photo which already has the image information and which, as in the case of the described in claim 1 alternative, then scanned and digitized together with the form.

In order to rule out any errors during scanning and to increase the scanning speed, it is further provided that only the specified analog text information and possibly an identifier for recognizing the relevant form are read in during the scanning of the form. In this context, the device provides that the set or the system has a writing instrument, the writing instrument writing in a different color than in the color of the form. For example, the writing instrument can write in black color, while the color of the form text is colorful, ie "non-black". Only the identifier of the form has the color of the writing instrument, so that it is ensured that only the relevant data are actually read. In this context, it should be pointed out that it is generally not necessary to provide an identifier if there is only one form; However, if several forms are used, it is important that the respective text information is recognized accordingly. This "recognition" takes place via the identifier provided on the respective form.

In order to make the change or update of the website or the data stored in the database as easy as possible for the user in this context, the data are stored in the database in a manner corresponding to the representation of the form. It is particularly advisable that the data is stored exactly as it is provided on the form already known to the user. In principle, however, other types of storage or presentation of the data are also possible, for example according to corresponding subject areas.

In order to further reduce the costs associated with the invention, it is also advisable for the camera to be a disposable camera. To improve user comfort in connection with the method according to the invention, it is also advantageous that the set has an envelope, in particular made of plastic, for recording the camera or the film and the form. The plastic envelope ultimately prevents damage to the film or the form, which cannot be guaranteed with envelopes made of paper or cardboard.

As a result, the user ultimately does not have to worry about anything. Only the text and image information is required by the user. For this purpose, the user is provided with a set of forms, a writing device interacting with the form in a special manner as described above, and a camera, the analog information carriers then being fed to the collecting station via the envelope.

The single figure shows the process flow in the method according to the invention and details of the system and set according to the invention are shown schematically.

The single figure shows a system 1 for creating Internet pages 2, of which only one is shown. System 1 is aimed primarily at commercial users such as restaurants, pharmacies or the like, but also at private users. The basis or basis of the system 1 is a plurality of sets 3, which are made available to the individual users by the website manufacturer. In the present case, each set 3 has a form set with a plurality of forms 4 for recording analog text information from the user and a camera 5 with a film 6 for recording analog image information. The set of forms with the forms 4, the camera 5 and the writing instrument 2 are - if they are made available to the user - arranged in a carrier 9, which preferably consists of a solid lightweight plastic. The carrier 9 is provided with a carrier lower part 10 and a carrier cover part 11. The arrangement of the set of forms, the camera 5 and the writing instrument 7 in the lower part 10 of the carrier takes place in such a way that corresponding recesses 12 with recesses 13 are provided for the camera 5 and the writing instrument 7, into which the camera 5 and the writing instrument 7 are inserted. On the edge side, the lower carrier part 10 is provided with an essentially circumferential edge 14. The interior space delimited by the edge 14 serves to hold the form set of the forms 4 essentially without play (this is not shown to scale) and for the form-fitting fixing of the cover part 11.

The camera 5 itself is a disposable camera, which is associated with correspondingly low costs. Otherwise, the camera, when it is fed to the collecting station 16, also provides protection for the film 6. Finally, the set 3 also has an envelope 15, which in the present case is made of plastic and for receiving the camera 5 or the film 6 and the Form 4 is provided.

After the set 3 has been provided, the required analog text information and image information are specified or recorded by the user. In this context, the user can choose between various basic types of sample Internet pages into which the individual data will later be "built in". The choice of color for website 2 is also up to the user.

Then the form 4 and the camera 5 or only the film 6 are fed to a collection station 16 of the website manufacturer. Following the collecting station 16, the film 6 is removed from the camera 5. The development of the film 6 and the production of photos 18 take place in a development station 17. The photos 18 and the individual forms 4 are then fed to a scanner device 19. The individual photos 18 and the forms 4 are scanned there and the scanned data is digitized. If necessary, the data is checked for errors. The data are then fed to a database 20 of a computing device 21. The computer device 21 is connected to the Internet via a connection 22. On the basis of the digitized data stored in the database 20, the Internet page 2 of the user provided with this data is automatically created via an operating system, without further manual entries being required.

It is not shown in detail that the database 20 of the website manufacturer can be accessed by the user via the Internet in order to enable the user to change the data of his website 2. Access to the database 20, and only to the respective file of the user, is possible after entering a corresponding password. The modified Internet page 2 is then automatically created again via the operating system, that is to say computer-controlled, without the user having to take any further action.
