It is an object of this invention to provide a pocket member adapted for a wallet pocket consisting of a plurality of flat tubular card holders adapted for rotation about a common pivot.

This and other objects of this invention will become apparent upon reading the following descriptive disclosure taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawing in which:

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an opened wallet showing two pocket members disposed in opposed wallet pockets,

Fig. 2 is a view of a pocket member showing the individual card holders in a rotatably disposed relationship, and

Fig. 3 is a cross-section taken on line 3-3 of Fig. 2 and showing the manner of pivotally securing a plurality of individual card holders.

Referring to the drawing, a wallet I is provided with longitudinal pockets 2 adapted to receive longitudinal pocket members 3. The pocket member 3 comprises a plurality of flat tubular transparent card holders 4 having a thumb notch 5 therein adapted to facilitate easy removal of cards inserted in said tubular card holders. The tubular card holders are preferably made of plastic material, for example cellulose acetate or methyl methacrylate.

The bases of the card holders 4 are closed by means of transversely disposed bottom strips 6. The strips 6 are preferably adhesively secured to the interior walls of the card holders 4. As shown in Fig. 2, three card holders are disposed about an eyelet 8. However, more than three card holders may be disposed about such an eyelet. The outer card holders 4 rotatably disposed about eyelet 8 may be provided with leather guards 1.

While this invention shows an eyelet 8 used to secure the card holders 4 together, other securing means, for example a rivet and the like may be used in lieu of an eyelet. The eyelet is preferably centrally disposed between the outer edges of the closure strips 6. The closure strip 6 may be of plastic material or may be plastic coated fabric material.

While this invention has been described by means of a single illustrative embodiment, other embodiments will become apparent to those skilled in the art after reading this descriptive disclosure, and the claims appearing hereinafter are intended to embrace these obvious embodiments.

Having described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is as follows:

A pocket member consisting of a plurality of fiat transparent tubular card holders disposed in superimposed relationship, closure strips disposed adhesively in the bottoms of said tubes and each having a portion extending therefrom, and pivot means secured centrally to said strips for affording rotation of said card holders relative to one another.
