Description

The invention relates to a device for securing windows, doors or the like, with provided at the points to be secured electrical warning devices, each having an independent power generator, a sensor and a signal-generating transmitter, a central receiver for the signals generated by the transmitter and one alarm device which can be acted upon by the receiver.

Windows and doors are generally weak points in burglary protection. For this reason, sensors are attached to alarm systems on windows and doors to report or indicate an attack on windows or doors that one of these building openings was accidentally not closed or was opened without authorization. Systems of this type, which include all openings in a building, are also referred to as “outer skin protection”. There are also alarm systems designed to detect and report changes within the building. These are also known as "motion detectors".

The advantage of "outer skin protection" is that the sensors report an attack or negligence before the perpetrator has entered the building. This increases the warning time and increases the likelihood that help will arrive in time. The disadvantage of the outer skin systems lies in the relatively large outlay for wiring all building openings. This disadvantage occurs particularly when an outer skin protection is to be installed in an already existing building. Walls have to be chopped up, it has to be re-taped, for example, and the work involved is associated with nuisance to the occupants of the building through dirt and manual work.

From DE-OS 24 36 225 a device of the type mentioned is already known, which has the disadvantages described above, which to those in the network tried to avoid supplying the individual sensors or the disadvantages associated with these subordinate warning devices in that each electrical warning device has an independent power generator, so no wiring is required for the power supply. The power generator can be actuated mechanically by opening the window or the door, the pulse generated by the power generator in this case sending a signal to the central receiver via the high-frequency transmitter, likewise wirelessly, on the basis of which the alarm is then triggered. A disadvantage of this device, however, is that the power generator, because of its mechanical actuability, limits the choice with regard to the sensors - for example, no motion-free, for example acoustic, sensors can be used, and it is also not possible to let the entire system work "self-monitoring", that means through permanent signal flow between the transmitters and the receiver in the non-alarm state. From DE-OS 24 37 341, on the other hand, a security alarm device is known which ensures a more versatile selection with regard to the sensors and also enables self-monitoring of the type described, but batteries are provided as power generators, which naturally require a great deal of maintenance.

Even if the batteries were designed as rechargeable batteries or exchangeable, high demands are placed on the reliability of both the personnel and the batteries or accumulators, so that proper operation cannot be guaranteed with certainty.

The invention has for its object to develop the device of the type mentioned in such a way that with greater flexibility visibly the sensors that can be used, higher operational reliability is guaranteed.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the power generators for the individual electrical warning devices have radiation or thermoelectric energy converters, such as solar cells, photo elements or thermopiles.

According to the invention, a device of the generic type is also proposed, which is characterized in that the transmitters emit a pulsed idle signal in the non-alarm state. This embodiment of the invention, which is also advantageous, for example, when using power generators of the type known from DE-OS 24 36 225, enables an additional safeguard against a replacement of the real idle signal by a simulated idle signal.

It can preferably be provided that an accumulator or the like is connected downstream of the power generators.

According to the invention it can also be provided that the alarm device is preceded by at least one motion detector which can be acted upon by the receiver in dependence on the signals received.

Furthermore, the invention proposes that the transmitters may emit an idle signal in the non-alarm state.

The invention also provides a device of the described type with photo elements as a power generator, which is characterized by a central radiation source for applying radiation energy to the photo elements.

The invention furthermore relates to a device which is characterized in that the transmitters have a reservoir of a number of different pulse groups which can be called up in a controlled manner as a quiescent signal by a random generator, the receiver being informed by a special signal which pulse group is to be expected as the next one .

In particular, it can be provided that the type of special signal depends both on the next pulse group and on at least one previous pulse group; and that the receiver ulsgruppe for compliance with the features that can be expected due to the special signal over a discriminator for checking the shape of the incoming P.

The invention furthermore relates to the use of a device of the type described above for securing building openings closed with alarm glass panes, the sensors responding to pane breakage.

It can be provided according to the invention that the sensors are attached to the respective inner pane when using alarm glass double panes.

Finally, it can also be provided according to the invention that the warning devices are fully integrated into the respective inter-pane spaces.

Due to the fact that in the invention radiation or thermoelectric energy converters assigned to the respective sensor are used to generate electricity, on the one hand an extraordinary flexibility in the selection of the sensors is guaranteed, this being known, for example, in a manner known per se for discovering, for example, a break in of the outer pane of double glazing , a cutting of the outer pane with a diamond tool or the like, manipulation of the inner pane or also opening or opening of the window or the door can be designed. The permanent power supply also gives the possibility of having the individual transmitters permanently transmit preferably pulsed signals to the receiver, so that an alarm is triggered when the signals fail to appear. The transmitter itself can of course be designed, for example, so that it sonic, ultrasonic, infrared or high frequency signals, b z w. Electromechanical or electro-magnetic vibration signals in general, send out, of course, with appropriate training of the receiver.

In the case that solar cells are involved, the sensors or the power generators assigned to them are attached, for example, to a glass pane or to a glazed part of a door in such a way that they are subjected to sufficient solar energy to charge the accumulator with relatively small solar cells to be able to. If photo elements are used in connection with a central radiation source, which is installed within the room or building to be secured, then this is the case to take into account, of course, for an undisturbed radiation path between the radiation source and the individual photoelements, a particular advantage in this embodiment being that an energy supply to the warning devices that is natural due to natural influences, namely fluctuations in solar energy, is ensured. Also influence, for example, by covering the S olarzellen from the outside or the like is to be feared in this embodiment. If the energy converters consist of thermopiles that take advantage of the temperature difference between the inside of the building and the outside atmosphere, then it may be advisable to interpose a voltage converter and / or a known circuit with blocking diodes in order to prevent the accumulator from being exposed to insufficient thermal voltage Thermopile discharges. If a Grätz circuit is used, the thermal voltage can be used regardless of the polarity.

In all embodiments, the signal can be output via the individual transmitters to the central receiver, for example similarly to the remote control of television and radio devices. Another possibility is that the sensor in an additionally provided motion detector or in a plurality of motion detectors disturbs the motion of the monitored field in a manner similar to an undesired intruder, which then triggers an alarm via the motion detector.

The device according to the invention can easily be integrated into commercially available alarm systems. For example, there are alarm systems in which motion detectors are plugged into the sockets and which are connected to a control center via a high-frequency signal via the light line. The wireless sensors on the windows or doors can then be assigned in terms of circuitry to such motion detectors by means of the device according to the invention.

  • Fig. 2 die Warneinrichtung der Vorrichtung von Fig. 1 in Blockdiagrammdarstellung.
Further features and advantages of the - invention will become apparent from the claims and from the following description in which an exemplary embodiment is explained with reference to the schematic drawing. It shows:
  • Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a device according to the invention in a diagrammatic overview. and
  • Fig. 2 shows the warning device of the device of Fig. 1 in block diagram representation.

As can be seen from the drawing, windows 10, 12 are secured by electrical warning devices 14, 16 in the device shown there. Fig. 2 shows that each warning means comprises solar cells A p proper 18 with a downstream battery as a power generator. Furthermore, each warning device 14, 16 has a sensor 20 for detecting a unauthorized opening of one of the windows 10, 12. The sensors 20 can be equipped in a manner known per se in such a way that, for example, they break in the outer pane of double glazing, cut the outer pane of double glazing with a diamond tool or the like, manipulate an inner pane of double glazing or finally also on that Address opening or opening of the window or door. The sensors 20 are preferably connected in a known manner as elements of an electrical closed circuit. If the sensors 20 are mounted directly on glass panes, they can be sensitized in a known manner to special noises in the glass (broken glass, cutting noise), which reduces the possibility of false alarms, for example due to thunder and hail. In the case of an insulating glass pane filled with gas, the penetration of air into the space between the panes can be used to trigger the alarm by means of the sensors 20. To prove the opening of windows and doors, a permanent magnet can be attached to the window or door frame, which is connected, for example, to a reed contact in the window frame and can thereby indicate that the window or door is open or has been opened.

In the embodiment of the warning device 14 shown in FIG. 2, the solar cell arrangement 18 acts not only on the sensor 20, but in particular also on a transmitter 22 provided according to the invention, which in the embodiment shown shows pulsed ultrasound signals with a pulse duration of a few milliseconds and pulse intervals of about 30 seconds. In Fig. 2 it is indicated that on the left side of the solar cell arrangement 18 in the direction of the arrow solar energy is striking, while the signal beam apart from the transmitter 22 extends to the right in Fig. 2.

As shown in FIG. 1, the device according to the invention furthermore has a central receiver 24 which picks up the signal pulses emitted by the transmitters 22 of the warning devices 14, 16. The receiver 24 is followed by an alarm device (not shown), for example in the form of a siren or an automatic emergency telephone dialer.

The described exemplary embodiment of the invention works as follows: As long as there is no break-in or the windows 10, 12 are not opened, the transmitters 22 of the electrical warning devices 14, 16 send out the pulsed signals, which are consequently continuously picked up by the central receiver 24. If the receiver no longer receives signals from even one of the transmitters 22 of the warning devices 14, 16 within a period of time adapted to the pulse interval, the alarm is triggered in a known manner. The receiver 24 can also be coupled to one or more motion detectors, the signals emitted by the transmitters 22 then simulating a malfunction when they are absent in the corresponding motion detector and the alarm is then triggered.

The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, in the drawing and in the claims can be essential both individually and in any combination for realizing the invention in its various embodiments.
