Abstract
A method, system and graphical user interface (500) for dynamically updating transmission characteristics in a web mail reply (510) are described. In one embodyment of the invention, a graphical user interface includes a web mail reply form (500) that includes: one or more address fields (510, 520, 530); an input area (rectangular boxes) for inputing a reply message; and a plurality of response options (515, 525, 535) selectable by a user. In response to selection of a response option by a suer, one or more of the address fields in the reply form are changed while maintaining the reply message in the input area.
